how does drying equipment help?

After a home or business has had a broken supply line or other water intrusion it will migrate and move as far as it can go. The migration is helped by the building materials that soak up the water quickly, such as carpet pad or sheetrock.
When SERVPRO of Englewod/East Littleton arrived, we remove the bulk of the water using a high-powered extractor. We arrange the air movers in a room or hall in a way to allow for the most evaporation to happen. While we want evaporation, we don’t want humidity. Each area needs to have a dehumidifier close to remove the humidity from the air.
